Sziget 2026

"the final piece just dropped" kind of sounds, this is our last big name in the lineup :)

I think Saturday is weak for Sziget standards or any festival this size, but artists are expensive on weekends and they know Saturday sell well anyway. Overall lineup seems okay, obviously cheaper and far from spectacular, but there is "something for someone".

Don’t understand this booking but I guess people will come anyway cause it’s Saturday…

In that case I'd say you've understood the booking perfectly. They sell thousands of Saturday day tickets to locals who go to Delta District. This booking just invites them to arrive a little earlier.

No thought seems to have been given to people going for the full five days. The headliners on the last couple of days - BMTH, Skepta, Skrillez are completely different to those in the first three - Zara, Lewis, Florence.

I guess that's the sign of a good mix of genres but to me it looks like two separate festivals.

Why did Skrillex deserve his own headliner announcement? Weakest of the lot in my opinion.

Leaks implied there were further acts to be announced, but the festival socials imply that we are done for music announcements now.

Anyone know how easy it is to get resale tickets for Way Out West?

They said more artists to come but no more headliners

Probably the contract definition took longer.

This might be the reason why they had the announcement ready since the last name drop (at least, considering the leak), but they held it back til this day.

The Main Stage for day 2 seems already cooked IMHO: Natasha Bedingfield - Ashnikko - Biffy Clyro - 21 Pilots

It's not strong, but hardly anything about this lineup is strong.

They did what they could with what they had, and I would say it's not as lazy as the last couple of editions (at least they diversified the genres), but it has really no edge on competitors.

Anyway, the fact that there was no clashfinder for Sziget2026 kinda itched me, so I threw one together.

It's not precise, but it's better than anything - feel free to give me your opinions about it:

Seems alright.

Just one small detail.
Majka is a rapper and Analog Balaton is a band, the morning slot is pretty long for them. (And Majka will probably headline the stage)

For me, this "Delta District" thing is killing Sziget.

The more you focus on EDM and electro, the more acts like that you get, and the later people will come.

So, the island feels empty until 5 or 6 pm, just like last year. Even some bars weren't open at 1 pm (!) ...

The undercard MUST be stronger. If you want to keep your island alive, you need to give people reasons to come as early as 1 PM. And EDM-electro isn't going to do that. On the contrary.

Yeah, I would take the timeslots with a grain of salt anyway - I just copy-pasted what petofi used to be back in the day

I agree: I probably would have preferred for them to squeeze the number of stages, rather than reducing the number of days. It feels diluted, like some names have no hype, no critical acclaim, no novelty whatsoever. I don't really know who did they were trying to cater to when they booked some of these names

Getting into the festival early evening on the Saturday will be a nightmare.

All the Saturday night Delta District attendees will buy an all-day ticket rather than an evening one and just arrive two hours earlier than usual at 8.30pm. Skrillex will be packed and Sziget will claim it as a victory.

If it wasn't for 2manydjs playing, the Saturday would be a near wash-out for us (and they will be packed, I'm sure).

Just hope Revolut has something decent on when Skrillex is playing.

Don't get me wrong, they've picked some decent acts this year but, once again, they've missed out on a series of acts that have blown up (or are blowing up) over the past year.

They've missed acts before, such as Wet Leg (!) and, if you look back to 2022 and 2023 forum chats there were a number of us calling for Fred Again... when he was still quite small.

This year though, they've missed the emergence of Geese, Turnstile, Wunderhorse, PinkPantheress and the resurgence of Lily Allen. But lots of other August festivals have them booked.

Looks quite good imo, except Swimming Paul and Oskar Med K both in the 16:00/17:00 slot in the Colosseum. Would be a shame if they put these two as early

I’m happy-ish with the line up,especially with the first 3 days, but any two of these artists would have really made the difference.

Hi all. Long time lurker but first time poster. Just wanted to say how upset I am at the Skrillex announcement. I came from UK with my ex last year and loved the festival. This year, I am coming with three friends. We are girls all between 21 and 24. I saw previous Saturday headliners and thought it would be a great party vibe. None of us had even heard of Skrillex, but I hadn't heard of Anyma last year and enjoyed that so I thought I would give Skrillex a listen and watched the Lolla Chile vid. It's just noise 🤣 I didn't recognise one song and the crowd looked dangerous, he even stopped his set. I'm not ashamed to admit I was crying last night. I've encouraged my friends to come and thought we would have Calvin Harris or someone, but I'm just so upset. I realise I'm being stupid but please tell me there will be something really cool on somewhere else at the same time. My friends are being really good about it but I just feel like I've let them all down with promises of a great party send off.

I am not a huge fan of Skrillex either, but there are some great DJs playing at the Colosseum that day, like Funk Tribu and Sam Hofman. They may not be as big as someone like Calvin Harris, but most of the time at Sziget I have the most fun at the lesser-known acts.
