NOS Alive 2026

Yes, the 3 day passes and the 2 day passes (9 and 11, 10 and 11) have all sold out. Now you can only buy day tickets for 9 and 10 or a two day pass (9 and 10). They normally warn before solding out which didn’t happen this time and a lot of people are complaining about it on their social media

Sort of got tickets to this on a whim without doing too much research beforehand

Me and my wife went to MEO Kalorama in 2023 and thought that was really good, but subsequent lineups weren't strong enough to consider ticket/flights/hotels.

We were originally considering Madrid Mad Cool, but we prefer Lisbon/Portugal to Spain and the lineups are pretty similar. Shame there's no CMAT, but hey-ho.

Anything I should know beforehand? Anyone been to Kalorama for comparison?

Not surprised. Line up is AMAZING

10th of July sold out

That is not correct! You can still buy tickets for the 10th! NOS ALIVE issued a warning of low tickets for this day so they will eventually sold out in the next few days. But at this moment they are still available.

In before we end up on Page 2!

Wondering when we see anything approaching a time table? Does it follow that that the order in which they're listed on the stagge page is the order that they're playing? I really want to see The War on Drugs again, but I doubt I can stay awake until 2am or whater after a day on the wine pints :-)

Normally the timetable is only released the week before. And as far as I'm aware the line up is still not closed! And it doesn't follow the order in which they are listed.

Hopefully some more news coming soon you’ve got to think. Even if it’s just a couple of Heineken Stage acts.

well you know... they sold out most of the festival and apparently are not interested in completing the line-up:D
Joke apart, months ago I was hoping for acts like halsey, hives, interpol... lots of cool names at open'er, werchter mad cool etc.
Being silent still only tells me they don't have other interesting acts to show up for. and if I'm right, they can either fill the remaining slots a week before the festival or not at all.

Now that it seems that most of the lineup is out, anyone have any advice for a first timer? We can’t wait! I’ve watched a couple of videos but always good to hear first hand

Only been once (2019), but my number one tip is if you really want to hear the act and it's someone who isn't full on loud, then get in close because if you try and watch from the sides they'll be drowned out by people talking.  There are a lot of people there for a social occasion with some music in the background.

Other than that it is a decent vibe, plenty of opportunities to buy drinks (including the beer minions passing through the crowd).  Numerous food stalls but they do get very busy after sunset, eat before you go in if you can, and get by on snacks while inside.  If you go on the train, when you get off at Alges there may well be people selling cans of beer from coolers, for a drink on the walk to the gate (can't take them inside obviously).

Is it wrong to be curious how people will fare at Lisbon Airport when coming in for this given it's reputation for comically enormous queues with the EUs EES thing?

If you are an European citizen, you should be okay, since that doesn't apply for Eu citizens. The problem is for the other foreigners.

I'm British so it very much would apply for me.

I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.

Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
    • f**king horrendous and seems they couldn’t run an egg and spoon race.  zero info and the crush waiting to get in to see Massive Attack was potentially disasterous. Zero info, no stewards at all and was told that the whole evening was cancelled, when we got to the exit. Because it rained. First time attendee and i’ve got onsay, i’m far from impressed. Scalping bastard taxis asking €37 plus for an €11 fare too. Wonderdul.
    • Rumours are it's called The Lost Tour. In the US in September. Ireland in November (so UK+Europe a good bet around November/early December).
    • Hey guys, is there a group going for any solo y not goers this year?? I couldn’t miss out once I saw the acts but it’s just me and would be great to meet some others:))
    • After deciding to abandon the festival, here's a few of my thoughts (mostly negative tbf).    On the positive side - was it just me or were there a few more urinals than last year? Seemed to help the queues at the loos a bit from what i saw. Plus they had at least had some foresight and had a few more covered areas in the VIP areas.    Now on the negatives.  The weather was admittedly pretty crap but it wasn't apocalyptic. How the actual f**k are bits of the main stage falling off in those conditions?  Then the communication was awful, there's a load of people who left the site because they were told by security guards/other personnel that there would be no more acts on the main stage this evening.  You have an app Primavera, use it! Yes, there's a shitload going on I'm sure but communication with the festivalgoers should be one of the top priorities. You failed.    And I'm not usually somebody who buys into the whole "oh this is hugely unsafe and it's lucky people weren't hurt" narrative, but all the above led to movements of people that were genuinely unsafe.  Evacuating Mordor entirely (again... Why???) and then having a horde of people trying to get in because they thought they were going to Massive Attack was insane.  And given a lot of people basically abandoned ship around 10.30pm the crush at both the exit to the festival and the entrance to the Metro was pretty dangerous.   Conditions happen, most people will get that....but the contingencies have to be better.
