I have never been so excited for a performance at Glasto ever.  He's never performed live there before and I have always wanted him to perform in my favourite place, this is going to be  real highlight this year....

Strap yourselves in people, this is going to be good, trust me, Mr Fan boy....

The stars will align Saturday evening at he Park...

lol!!!

A Prayer for the Unborn will have me in tears, an absolute belter of a track and will be a real moment at the Park, cant see it being topped over the weekend!. So gutted I wont be there to see it live this yea, I have been hoping to see him there since 2005 with no luck!

I recommend anyone there to go and see him, the mans a legend and pioneer!

Yep, cannot wait for this one, The Park will be rammed full of numanoids, scenes. Good to see Persia as well, My name is Ruin is a tune. To top it all he's a genuinely lovely bloke, reckon it will be emotional in parts, bottom lip on standby to wibble.

No Yogs, but he never would, need to finish on a banger which everyone knows which is what he did. Still played it a few songs back, bloody brilliant it was too, recommend watching it at 8 if you couldnt catch it live...

Thanks for the reply dingbat2. I don't know the song, but have lined your previously posted copy of it live as a thing to listen to soon ie after writing this. I don't know much of his work but reckon he'd be ace live. And it sounds as if that is the case.

You saw Gary Numan at Glastonbury.

First saw him  at the Rochester Castle in London when Tubeway Army were a punk band in the late seventies. Seen him a few times since but can’t believe I’ve just watched him at Glastonbury more than 45 years later

There was a group next to me who were clearly very confused by the fact that he plays industrial metal now (and has done for 30 years). I think they thought he'd had some sort of breakdown.

Choice quote from them: "Maybe he's just playing his new album." Also, "Do you think he's an embarrassing dad?" right before he brought his two daughters on stage, and they're obviously incredibly proud of him.
