So, here we go. Charli XCX will headline the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday June 28th 2025.

Doechii clash is as almost asbrutal as the IDLES Fontaines clash last year in terms of audience crossover. Got to be Charli though for me I think.

 

Does she play Speed Drive normally?

I actually think Scissor Sisters and Doechii might help a little bit to split her crowd if they're headlining Woodsies/WH. There's probably a bit of a venn diagram between those 3 acts.

For me the Neil Young / Charli XCX / Doechii clash is up there as one the all time worst clashes. I would be more than happy with a full weekend of those 3 headliners

Think I'd be at Young, must admit. But don't have the heartbreak of that decision to make.

 

Guessing Charli does seventy-five minutes, but she might just go for a turbo-charged hour.

 

Neil would likely be closer to two, if not more, so you might possibly be able to catch half-an-hour - best case scenario - before a mad dart to the latter, unless those stage closure fears come to pass.

Probably with that plan is you need to be in “the pit” at either of the Pyramid and Other, which ain’t going to happen going from Neil to Charli, but may be possible Charli to Neil

I'm glad i don't have this clash issue. While I agree it will be a fun time for Charli, it's not for me. I feel Scissor Sisters is the natural go to at this moment depending when Hard-Fi are on

Surly they are going to have to change things around. There will be crushes at Other. Obviously Neil can’t be moved but maybe Charlie and Raye could be switched.

I really don't think she'll get the crowd size people seem to be talking about. She'll get the biggest of all the Other headliners of the weekend, and maybe bigger than Neil Young gets, but I don't even think it'll be the level of Avril Lavigne last year.

Even though we've joked a lot about a possible crowd crush at Charli's show, I do think the clash with Doechii is intentional, to split the crowd and avoid issues at the Other. I mean, I'm loyal to Charli, but considering I've already seen the brat show twice, I'll probably go for Doechii this time.
