Big up @ShuMart who got me a CV General ticket which it turns out I didn't need after my other half got one in the same 1 minute window

I am looking to either buy a spare east campervan pass or swap for a bath & west campervan pass (highly unlikely I know).

Do you have a spare then that you are looking to get rid of?

Or if any of you good folk on here know of any east camper tickets that are going spare, maybe your groups purchased more than one in the mad panic/rush then I would be very grateful to take it off your hands!

Hi, sorry, I've already given the cancellation fee and requested a refund now. I should have kept hold of it to be fair.

the WV hill is sorta sh*tty but if youre only going up and down once all day, who cares. Although I was crazy and did it twice every day. Had to go get the ruck sack.

Was at CV East General this year, so became familiar with the Hill of Mild Inconvenience -- most days I did the journey there and back once, but I did do it twice on the Wednesday (after getting back I decided I wanted to go to the Glastonbury sign to see in the sunrise) and Thursday (after getting back I decided I wanted to go and see the Lambrini Girls in Shangri-La). I'm at WV next year and expecting similar.

I wasn't really aware of the lock-up system and how that worked though, so it's likely I will be making some use of that this time round. My understanding is that there is a lock-up right after the entrance from WV, so I could stash evening-gear/top-ups etc in there rather than needing to trek all the way back up? Was there a reason that didn't work for you @Suprefan?

Lockups are an amazing service … free but a charity donation is kind of the way most do it . They store absolutely anything in them and are absolutely secure . Most of the time with minimal queues apart from peak time although I’d imagine the ones near the pedestrian gates have slightly bigger ones . Always love a chat with lockup guys 🙂

I just planned to never go back til the day ended pretty much. Never a need to go change clothes and whatnot. I used the lock up for my passport and that was it. And youre talking about the lock up by the Tipi Field I presume. But like I said, I just got up early, went to the Guardian stall closest to Wv, got a ruck sack and went back up the hill to get ready for the day. When I camped normally the first time I went in 17 I was in Oxlyers and that lent itself to going by my tent more often because it was around where I would be at certain points of the day so its easier to manage. With Wv I just made sure I wasnt returning.

Set the SeeTickets Glastonbury page as your main browser page, saw this tip on a Facebook group and it paid off for a few members yesterday. 👍🏻

Yes, Pennard’s lock up is just down the hill from Strummerville. Use it all the time (stayed at WV 2014-2023, there again this year). Great to store wellies, evening jumpers and additional booze supplies.  Anything basically you don’t want to lug around all day. Whilst it’s def feasible to go back to your WV tent during the day, it’s a pointless waste of time when you can store provisions/clothing on site.

first time in a campervan this year! Just wondering, are there facilities to fill the water tank with a hose, or is it just the usual water taps for filling bottles up? I presume we won't be allowed to move the van once we're parked up and therefore can't fill the water up, but wanted to check before we all invest in solar showers

If you are in East Campervan Fields you will need to fill the water tank before you get there as there isn't space to fill once onsite. Everyone uses water containers or aqua rolls. I would recommend that you ensure you also have a wide necked funnel or a water pump to top up the water tank.

If you are in Bath and West I don't know as I haven't stayed there 😊

I arrive with 120l water onboard and an extra 40l in 2 x 20l containers.

Easy to top up from container if you have a wide funnel.

A trolley and bungee cords are useful for moving water containers and/or the toilet cassette.

An Aquaroll fill up hose is pretty useful too...

Cheers, I just picked one up too.
Question- I have an east general already which someone on here got for me and I transferred the money to him. If I cancel that, will the refund come to me or him?

To him minus the 25 cancellation fee

This happened to me so I sent the 25 as he shouldn't lose out from requesting a refund. So they'd need to pay you 175 back when that came through
