No chance green day, mad cool ruined the relationship long time ago with them.

LP is 100% sure, Olivia Rodrigo also, Slipknot is possible , foo fighters will make it pack the place , so unfortunately no. I hope IDLES then.

Ken also said a few years ago that Pearl Jam would never come back to Mad Cool and this year they were there again. Money is money.

I was about to say this. That 2017 incident is the kind of thing that would alienate them from coming back. So maybe if Green Day do end up at NOS Alive, they could be a shout for Bilbao BBK if that's the same weekend.

I seem to remember this is why Arctic Monkeys swerved mad cool in 2023. They were annoyed as mad cool effectively jumped the gun on their 2018 tour, which was under embargo.

But the Mad cool/ green day situation was another level, and can see them actively not playing ever again as a result.

The Arctics one I think is a bit of pettiness but it's something as a response to the festival's PR given that I seem to recall something similar happening with The Strokes. But yeah, that GD situation left the band furious and I think they have a right to, so that's why I'm thinking the way I do on that scenario.

Linking Park and Olivia Rodrigo is 100% sure, I have no doubts. Then other bets very possible and realistic: IDLES, Kasabian,Artic Monkeys, Kylie Minogue , Eminem would be great but might be too expensive for MC.

Arctic Monkeys?

Looking at the Primavera line up makes me cautiously optimistic that Mad Cool (or even BBK) have been able to nab a few interesting bookings in Spain next year.

Either that or there just is absolutely nothing interesting going around the festival circuit next year haha

Mad Cool will have amazing line up. Primavera is rubbish besides IDLES and Turnstile

There's no good chance of NIN. They don't look to be active next year.

Few months ago they were negotiating for a show in Croatia in June, but deal is off. And according to some users from Download forum and reddit, Andy Copping said that NIN will have a show in UK in June. Andrej, pretty reliable user also have a information about June tour.

Let’s wait and see.

    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
