Can't believe we've not had the second drop of acts yet!

Around a month late already. And last year we got stage splits 4th April, so maybe they're going straight to that?

I'm sure I read somewhere this morning it's over 50 acts, so I'm assuming it'll be a lot of new bands filling out smaller stages but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Looking at some of the smaller stages at Ynot and Truck we could be in for a treat

Should be some more for the bigger stages too for Fri/Sun as these were fairly light on the first release. Smaller stages are always worth a look. The Leadmill lineup in particular usually has rich pickings

No real big names added in the second wave besides John Cooper Clarke

A bit disappointing TBF, but the money has obvs gone on Pulp. I still feel there should be a few more names to fill out the Leadmill stage. We'll see.

Yeah, I’d have been miffed if it wasn’t for the fact I got the tickets in Phase 1 when they were a steal, and there was already more than enough to justify the cost with the first drop.

Still be a cracking weekend but John Cooper Clarke as a special guest feels like a big cop out to me (and I say that as someone who likes him)

Same here. Was hoping for Richard Hawley. Also not sure how JCC will work on an open stage. Much as I enjoy his work, sound can be variable for spoken word even in a venue with good acoustics. Who knows, maybe he's bringing Alex Turner with him 😂

So all the Sat and Sun adds are competition winners. Pretty poor.

First year since 2019 we're skipping. Didn't get early bird pre lineup like normal either. Like we somehow knew.

I set a very low bar for tramlines because i want to support festival in the city I live. But just nothing in that lineup that appeals to me beyond "I'd see them if there was nowt else on" and that's not worth the ticket and beer cost.

shame but hope it's a good one and we'll be back next year hopefully.

I go to Tramlines nearly every summer, even though I don't live in the UK. And I was so excited about the Pulp/Spiritualized combo that I bought tickets in November, expecting that they'd keep some acts I really wanted to see in reserve for the 2nd announcement. But I took a hard look at this lineup today, and I found that there were very few acts I really wanted to see on here, beyond Pulp, Spiritualized, and maybe the Futureheads and Red Rum Club (both of whom I've seen before). So even though it's much more expensive, I went ahead and bought Latitude tickets instead, since that's featuring a ton of acts I really want to see. Now I just need to figure out the best way to sell my weekend ticket to Tramlines...

Yeah, that’s exactly who I had in my head too haha. Totally agree with JCC though, just think it’s completely the wrong setting for him.

Never seen Pulp and always wanted to, CMAT is my most played artist last year and never seen her either. Kasabian and Franz two of my favourite live bands, and there’ll be plenty more I’ll enjoy in the field I’m sure

You could try Tixel, very likely the official reseller. It's very easy as they reissue your ticket. You get paid after the event, or in advance if you don't mind paying a markup.

Sounds like we have similar taste. I love Franz live, and I was lucky enough to catch Pulp twice for the first time in 23. They are spectacular and with a home crowd it will be something else.

I also really enjoy Baxter Dury live, CMAT I've missed several times and really keen to see, Kasabian usually very good, I have a soft spot for the Futureheads having seen them loads when I was doing photography, and very interested to see how John Grant and Spiritualized work out.

Might even manage to catch some comedy this year.

There's definitely enough there to justify my ticket, so long as the clashes are not too awful.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
