If that helps, I was told Luvcat, Last Dinner Party, Chappell Roan will all be in different time slots, these won't clash. Kingfishr and Luvcat won't clash based on the same source. Don't know about the rest.
(I asked a person who 100% has knowledge on the schedule and line up about a month ago, so if things didn't change since, then it will be fine.)

Just out of interest, was your source able to confirm anything else about the schedule that we didn’t already know?

I only asked about the last day unfortunately, that's where I've got 5-6 names to see, including Luvcat. But we'll get the schedule sooner than later hopefully!

Saw luvcat couple of weeks ago, she was fantastic.

There's not to many clashes, but a few must sees that I dont want to miss that could clash.

Monday im hoping for Luvcat, Kingfishr, Last Dinner Party and Chappel Roan not to clash. Although out of anything I dont want Luvcat and Kingfishr to clash.

First day I got no chance. I would be quite happy to camp in Revolut, but want to check out little simz and charli.

Similar to us. We have eleven(!!) acts we want to catch on the first day - never going to happen, but by far the most acts we've ever fancied in a single day at Sziget.

Somehow got more than 40 acts we want to catch across the 6 days. Don't think we've ever shortlisted more than 30 before. So, despite the lack of known mid-sized names, there's definitely a strength in depth this year.

Agreed, not a Liverpool or Man City line-up but definitely a Newcastle or Villa.

Only the Friday is a trip to Budapest day. Although Blossoms and Caribou will save the evening.

Yeah, we've earmarked the same day. Might try to chill with a beer to Kiwanuka but, other than Carlita (if she plays some of her own stuff) Caribou and Blossoms are the only acts for us that day. By far the weakest of the six IMHO.

Luvcat look like they’re now playing the main stage. By that logic it’s just the 3 Revolut gaps that haven’t been announced

Yup, that was the info I got earlier, I just didn't want to be the guy who talks to someone then immediately takes the internet to tell everything to everyone 😅

This is why i said no more new names for main stage spot and why she cant clash with The Last Dinner Party and Chappell Roan - they are on the same stage. Which means she's on at 4pm so she can't clash with Kingfishr either, because the Buzz only kicks off after 5 (at least that's been the practice in the previous years)

Edit: and the other info is that only late night acts remain for Revolut, no big bands and stuff, idk if that was said here before

Luvcat main is a big move for the band. Only just starting out, late afternoon on revolut would of been better.

Two things with this news:

1. Is Luvcat going to get a little lost on the main stage?

2. Does her moving out of Revolut, and any extra acts likely being in the wee small hours, mean that Chappell and Kneecap are likely to clash? Really hope not.

Wonder if they made the first and last day the strongest on purpose, to sell more 6 day tickets

I would say not, she has great stage presence and good tunes. Although I still think she should be on one of the minor stages this year.

2 years time she will be huge imo.

I don't know how I feel about the 4pm main stage spot in general. I think it's great for a band's CV, "we were among the 4 names who played on the main stage that day at Sziget".

But when only a few hundred, or a few thousand people show up, that huge area seems so empty. People might sit in the woods in the right or way back. It's been traditionally the place and time for a few bigger Hungarian acts to show themselves to the international crowd, but I know that there was/were one or more Hungarian artists who just said no to that spot - if people don't turn up that early, and the field is empty, that's bad PR.

However, I do think it's good for everyone to have Luvcat up there, and I think that could be good at such an early point of her career.

4 acts/day is not enough...

If there were 6 for instance,  that would be different, people would come to the island earlier, eat there, ... Nowadays, it's like SZIGET is ("musicaly speaking") happening between 5pm to 4am 😕

They really should do like other fests', put some shows starting 1pm on MainStage and/or Revolut.

More to do with the hot weather.

The festivals with hot weather do the same. For example Mad cool, primavera, nos alive.

Although the colloseum starts mid day, plus you got the day tine programme.

For an oldie like me, it does make it easier on the feet. For example im already done in at fests like werchter that start midday ish.

Although would be a good idea, to put something on at the Buzz.
