Delays 🌍🚶‍♂️

by the way, i don't know if this is important, but there are 3 different emojis about Earth here, Leaks could've chosen any of them but went with Africa. was it a random choice, or is the clue about Africa..?

Like Die Antwoord, don't really know any other big African acts

I said the lineup would be similair in the sense that there'd be a bigger focus on "smaller acts" like in 2020.
It's definitely much weaker at this point, hence the delays.

Please tell us : does the idea of making the same announcement as in 2020 is considered ? (I mean, a "late announce", only early 2025)

I know people here will hate me for bringing up this idea lol, but remember how HYPED we were ... ❤️

just a little reminder for everyone :

Olivia Rodrigo is headlining RockWerchter, Nos Alive, Lollapalooza and rumored to headline glastonbury as well. Is there any chance that we can get her to Sziget too? She is doing shows on the 6th, 9th, 10th in America.

Well if she's in the US in August you answered your own question. 😞 she would've been a great headliner though

Are you sure about the shows on 6/9/10 in America? Nothing on her website about those dates.

You are right! My bad! These dates were in 2024, not next year! Thank you for that! Then I think we have a chance getting her in 2025 at Sziget! 🙂

Pretty sure (bigger) US artists don’t usually stick around Europe all summer. Olivia’s probably just doing June and early July.

Also, leaks have said they’re only dropping one or two headliners in the first phase. With Shawn, Justice, and maybe Post Malone already in, I honestly don’t see Olivia getting announced.

(I'm sorry, why Shawn Mendes, did I miss an info ? )

I think there's a chance we might get Sam Fender as a third headliner on top of Post and Shawn (if it is them).

He's headlining Werchter, he's subbed before, his new album is due early '25 and rumour is that he's also likely to headline Glastonbury. Plus, he's one of the names in the Wishmachine.

He'd be a smaller/cheaper headliner for sure but get them while they're cheap! Will attract Brits too.

    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
