Now we just have to wait for Primavera Sound to take place in Barcelona and Porto and then we'll know if Lana del Rey or PJ Harvey is coming.

Great lineup with SS standing out like a sore thumb.

 

Recalling the time that dosser Sam Smith pretended he didn't know who Thom Yorke was, jealous that Radiohead wrote the better Bond song. Separate changing rooms?

Not the same venue, though, it will be held not in a parcel next to IFEMA but actually in IFEMA (indoor, I assume).

It's open air. not indoors.

My bad, just read. But yeah, I guess in IFEMA's parking and definitely not in MC's parcel since it will now be used for the upcoming F1 track.

The formula 1 is not until 2026.....you never know. They might use the madcool espacio again this year.

Usually yes. It was HOT AF last year in August even though the last days of the month there was a huge and very uncommon change of weather in Spain and it was really chilly.

Presuming they'll be doing day tickets for this? Intended on doing a few days in Lisbon to see LCD @ Kalorama, but the Madrid edition might be a cheaper / better option. Attended Mad Cool in 2018 so reasonably familiar with the location also.

They will not even be on the same day. They will switch the days like reading/leeds with meo kalorama

I imagine madcool wanted to sign a multi year deal for a discount. 

 

The formula 1 is not until 2026, so maybe Kalorama just said "here lads any chance we can we use this for a few days in August?".

 

Maybe Kalorama will then move in 2025.
