I don't think there'll be any need to remove Row Mead this year...

No I don't BUT they're now know that they can leave it empty soon I reckon they will.. I also think that they will have food stalls all along the top..just imagine how much dollars 💵 that will bring in... I was speaking to the camp sites crew people and they were ov the same opinion...

Shame really I've been camping front row mead for 17 odd years till last year..,..mind you I did make it on the tele LOLOL 😂

Does Glastonbury feel a need to make one of the headliners American? I don’t want to go all ‘British first’, but I do think they should have had the balls to put home grown Little Simz on instead of SZA.  She’s six albums in, a Mercury and Brit winner, got five star reviews for her Ally Pally shows literally everywhere (from the NME to the FT). She has already proved herself headlining West Holts. And she’s already booked for the Pyramid.  Emily Eavis was even at the Ally Pally show - how can she have walked away from that show and not thought “wow - that is a Pyramid headliner” (or maybe that was her thought followed by “if only she was American”).
It was the second best concert  I went to last year. The best was Sault - and she stole the show in that!

are you one of the fellas from the "Pyramid Palais" tent?

the worst thing from last year was the removal of Row Mead camping - the block of long drops half way up the path at the side of Big Ground was pretty much always in great condition mainly because it was only used by Big Ground locals and was too far out for out for most people to even know was there...

last year because of the Row Mead crowd overflow those long drops ended up resembling one of the circles of hell...

No, see 2016, where Muse, Adele and Coldplay headlined

little simz ffs heard it all

may as well stick IDLES on it next

Its all good boost homegrown acts, friends of festivals etc but there will be no festival left if the world's biggest festival starts having acts who sell 2 x 10k shows in London and an academy tour elsewhere.

She did 2k in birmingham ffs

The reason why it’s the world’s biggest festival is because it took risks. How big was Pulp in 1995. SZA is a poor choice because it’s a safe choice and it totally lacks creativity.

Pulp were a last minute stand in for the Stone Roses.  They were put there just a few days beforehand.

I agree that Simz is the biz. I love her so much. I think she is very much Britain's Taylor Swift in that she is prolific and incredibly talented but unlike Taylor Swift it just hasn't translated to the mainstream success that she absolutely deserves. I really hope that the festival's decision to put her on before the biggest headliner this year will absolutely reap great rewards for her and I would love her to be big enough to headline in the future but even as a really big fan I have to say she just isn't that level yet.
