they really are. Finally US calls for a ceasefire and Russia/China veto because they don't want US to have any sort of win. Petty geopolitics bollocks. This UN security council is a farce.

well current plan they're negotiating on is immediate ceasefire along with staging of hostage and Palestinian prisoner releases over a period of time. Hamas are using hostages for leverage in negotiations, and Israel using the threat of an invasion of Rafah.
