well...not sure what that means...but currently Hamas are in negotiations indirectly with Israel...so unless Israel plan to destroy every single member of Hamas which would likely mean killing another 30k or so Gazans...maybe Hamas would have to be part of some ceasefire deal and a 2 state solution. And maybe if this apparent plan for a technocratic government to take over running of Palestine actually happens, that would likely involve some Hamas people too.

the only thing Hamas has to offer is the Iranian funding of social programmes.(that's exactly the same as Hezbollah in Lebanon). if that could be detached and given to Fatah, and the Palestinian authority. then things might go somewhere good.

Horrific as it is, I haven't seen a good explanation how an immediate one sided ceasefire will resolve anything. Lets hope Biden is right and a negotiated ceasefire is called soon
