Good news. I don't really trust the West to properly hold Israel to account, but every step towards doing so is at least something.

Netanyahu talking about ordering an evacuation of Rafah before an invasion - this is an area where most of Gaza has already evacuated to. The bloke needs taking out.

you seem to have missed one side saying they want to clear the land of the other side. and when they said it you said nothing, you didn't even ask where they were meant to go.

Not sure that Gazans are refusing, they don't have a choice...but I guess the fear is once they left they wouldn't be able to go back. Yes Egypt don't want them either, don't want to deal with a huge amount of refugees.

Anyway, it's literally near breaking point. Israel are clearly ignoring the ICJ court ruling, people are starving and dying from disease on top of everything else. Netanyahu is obviously ignoring US and others and is more bothered about keeping his coalition together and his political survival, and maybe he's waiting for Trump to get in. There needs to be an intervention.

god knows. I guess a multilateral force led by US to go into Gaza and directly intervene to allow aid to get through etc. Won't happen of course, but should.

not really a surprise  its gone  very badly for the countries that did take many (Lebanon, Jordan; Tunisia) and there's  no guarantee Israel will take them back).

This line:

"The United States cannot provide security assistance to foreign governments or groups that commit gross human rights violations,"

is pretty damning of how well that's enforced.
