I was going to post this.

I'm fairly sure it was Red Josh. Could be a case of them not wanting to start until the end of June though but that's still quite a miss that could have seen Korn under ST. I don't think Muse for Download mind you is a great option. I think of Muse selling out dates and tours and although no one at Download often does that, Muse do often do this.

Yeah, was me. I was told Muse were approached and they thought about it and said no because they weren’t touring. Other people have heard Muse were approached including Judas, so maybe something changed late with them. They were 100% approached about Download, though. Could always be that after the band that pulled out lots of fests approached them as a replacement and made it worth their while financially, but Download had already locked in their headliners when they first said no.

Or we getting a shock headliner and it’s actually Sleep Token - Green Day - Muse

AVALANCHE: letlive. / Marmozets

AVALANCHE: Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls / Basement

Definitely only need Saturday there but they'll be Friday. I think Saturday just makes it look better. Don't see 5 days between Germany and England was 1 day between England and Zurich.

"More to come later today" from Weezer who have just announced a load of EU festivals and shows.

Green Day

Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols

Weezer

Can see that being the top 3...

Weezer are definitely going to sub over Frank

I think that's a bit of a cop out really when Muse could have just headlined over Korn who were only pushed up due to pull out.

Line-up looks a lot stronger with Muse instead of KoRn. Who knows why Download wouldn’t go back in after they said no.

I get the feeling KoRn are only doing EU feats because of places like Download offering them headline spots. I don’t know this though.

I would be extremely shocked if both Judas and I have been told the same three by different people and it turns out wrong. If they have well played Download/Live Nation.

It's reassuring when other people hear the same thing. I see people on Reddit and Facebook so confidently stating GD/ST/K when they clearly heard it elsewhere when I'm still nervous about it being wrong 😂

I think other festivals are waiting for Download announce Korn first as exclusive first scoop as its a bugger deal for them to get that spot here vs other countries they've done.

If I was Muse and looked at a lot of other rumored bands playing, I wouldn't want to play it myself.

For what it's worth I don't think either of you have anything bad against you if it is wrong and the Muse option has been kept very tight.

Frank Carter and the Pistols were brilliant in Glasgow in September. Would go down very well at DL

It will be the first time since possibly 2016 that I would openly be interested in the top 4 acts of a main stage day of JEW played too. It would be a day very catered to day ticket holders where I reckon Grwen Day have said give us tjis much million and who we want and it was probably the only way of Weezer ever playing. 2011 and 2009 before that. The only act of them 4 I would move for is if the act opposite Frank Carter was decent. Going by this year not much but 2023 there would be.

I'm actually not sure Weezer should be subbing and not 3rd down given other subs they've had with arenas but it's probably out of their hands and up their with of the bigger bands they'll ever book.

If someone could have this leaked by 6pm that'd be great 😄 otherwise I'm stuck on a flight until 11pm!

Seems so far we just have Weezer being very likely (from their announcement this morning) and Frank Carter & the Sex Pistols (seemingly from the DL app update)

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
