That's not in line with Pearl Jam bacause they are expect to announce a tour on Monday. Mad Cool on tuesday if the newspaper got it right before removing the date.....

in Euro date format it will be 11 (Mon)/12 (Dec). Tuesday is 12/12.

I hope it's a good line-up and not same as all the other festivals, it's all the same, basically different countries.

 

It's also weird they start the festival on a Wednesday and finish on Saturday, everything is very odd...

That's always going to be the way isn't it? Any artist would charge a premium to play just one festival, because of the fixed costs of playing at all over the Summer. So, we end up with artists doing festival tours, and of course that means that there are the same people all over.

Given that Mad Cool have been very similar to other festivals in the past (albeit they do have one of, if not the "biggest" line up), I'd expect most of the names that appear to be the same as the ones we've already seen.

I think we can expect a mix of names from Rock Werchter, Opener, Rock in Rio Lisbon, Roskilde, Melt and Dour: Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Kali Uchis, Isabella Lovestory, COBRAH, Skrillex, BICEP, Sugababes, Yaeji, Avril Lavigne, Maneskin, Tainy, etc.

Tbf Primavera Porto also has a similar start-midweek end-Saturday run.

That's the case of pretty much every festival in Spain and imo makes more sense than a festival ending 3AM on a Monday morning.

Your list is very urban-friendly for Mad Cool. This is not Primavera Sound or Roskilde. I'd say Dua Lipa, Avril Lavigne, Skrillex, Maneskin and maybe Bicep from that list.
