Get up late in CVE, sort ourselves out, wait until Gate C queue has died down a bit and give 2 newbies a tour of the site, ending with a pint in the Bimble. Stop by Oxfam to see if they have any interesting outfits and get into the right frame of mind...
I'm 10 (nearly 11) years sober so I've spent a few Glastonburies off the sauce now. It's undoubtedly a different experience but richer in many ways. I see more stuff, enjoy it more fully, and remember more too.
I used to steer clear of alcohol-free versions for fear that substitution would make me crave the real thing, but I've loosened up on that in recent times because I don't feel there's any real danger any more. Last year I was pleasantly surprised how most of the bars had an alcohol-free beer on offer and these went down nicely in the sunshine.
If the source you’re getting it from legit? What price were you getting it for? There’s ALOT of scammers around and genuine hospitality are rare and not usually sold on so just be careful 🙂
