Official water bottles - How do you carry it around?

It probably sounds like a dumb question, but if you wanna walk around bag free, anyone got good tips to carry the steel water bottle about? Maybe buy some sort of clip to clip somewhere?

I run my belt through the carry handle.  Just unscrew it and leave the lid in situ, double bonus of not losing the lid.  Having it hanging on your hip is also a good constant reminder to stay on top of drinking water, especially good in the hot years.

Only issue with a carabiner on belt / belt loop is that it sits a bit lower on the thigh and bounces around more when moving about.

I don't have a Glasto bottle, but for my bottle I carabiner it to my man-bag.

Definitely had that problem, even worse for those around you when you're bouncing. 

I found the wire handle can open up, and needs squeezing back and springing back into place. If it gets too lose, it drops off whatever it's attached to.

I reckon a collapsible one that can go in your pocket (if you have shorts/trousers with suitable sized pockets). the big metal ones are not for me as I also prefer to be bag free. 

I've also been known to simply re-fill my finished pint cup from the water points!

The official ones are lovely but a bit of a menace to yourself and others in lots of situations. If I attached it to my belt/trousers it would pull them down.

Mmm, interesting. Do you think it would be awkward when getting to the front of packed-out sets?

I stuffed mine in my small shoulder bag last year but I’m considering taking a collapsable one instead this year as the metal one weighs a tonne and I like to travel light.
