Eee, does sound a bit grim in fairness. So is there no bar in the vicinity any more either?

On today's Glasto twitter feed today is this photo, which I thought was the bar in Williams Green, and so I was a bit confused as there looked like the Williams Green tent in the background! I assume the photo in the twitter feed is not from this years festival then!? Has that bar gone, as well as the tent then, I liked to have a few beers in there each year. A shame if it has

There is a bar henge, but it's just a go up and order bar, no seating etc.

Didn't go up towards the acoustic do can't say if the normal bar is there or not but I thought I did see it

Used to enjoy watching the football matches and Wimbledon in that bar when the dates combined!

Me too, especially remember Wimbledon on a sunny Saturday afternoon chilling just inside the bar entrance having a fee beers, whilst keeping an eye/ear out for who was playing in the tent next door. Love(d) that place/area, could spend hours drinking and listening to music and people watching as they pass through between Acoustic/Pyramid/West Holts or just chilling out on the seats outside.

I liked it, tons of folk enjoying the sun there this afternoon. When they played a suitable tune a few punters had a dance. 

If they played the right tunes they could easily keep a decent crowd happy and cos it's not a tent with walls there's no need to manage capacity.
