normally goes up on the day of the show, more days cost more money, also the logistics for the tent are probably tight cos it was prolly at another festival last weekend.

that was info gleaned from a sidekick of michael's and definitely applied the year they got a dodgy tent that couldn't get put up).

Can anyone help or give some advice please? 🙏

Not been PP before, but been Glasto many, many times. We’re coming from just outside Bristol (Long Ashton), looking at cabs, can we get a cab quite close? Any tips on where best to get dropped or picked up? Or cab companies you’d recommend?

Or we better off on the minibus and getting a cab from a drop off point? That seems like more money and hanging around tbf. Shame there’s no bus to Bristol as that would’ve been ideal.

Also, it says not to bring excessive alcohol, what’s excessive? 😁

Any help, advice or tips greatly appreciated 🙌

There’s a drop off point pretty much where red gate is for Glastonbury … 6 cans of cider was the allowance for last year . There’s no clarity I can see anywhere apart from that so expect anything over will be considered excessive

    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
