So looking forward to next year’s festival. So who are we hoping for ? Well I would like Nile Rogers and Chic as they are playing the weekend of the festival in Cornwall. Who would you like?

I'd definitely be up for Nile Rogers. 

Love most African music, any of my favourites like Orchestra Baobab, Vieux Farka Toure, Tinariwen, Mdou Moktar, Oscar Souleyman would do nicely.

There needs to be a highly appealing headliner for me to convince others to go with me, I'd be up for it irrespective of the headliners.

Unfortunately we won't be at WOMAD 2023 as off to see Depeche Mode in Europe.

Shame as I always enjoy it.

So Chic are playing the Thursday at Kendall Calling and one day over the weekend in Cornwall. Still hope they make the festival.

First time at WOMAD this year, pretty happy with Femi Kuti, Bombay Bicycle Club and Comet is Coming. Will take a look at the rest and hopefully my shifts can align so I get to see them.

Horace Andy & The Comet Is Coming are 100% certainties for me.

Also a plug for Oh My God! It's The Church, don't miss them, not too much for the music, more for the show, the energy and the craziness of their set.
