I'll be flying in on Friday morning & leaving again after The 1975. If anyone else is doing the same let me know !

Did you buy a ticket before you knew they were there?

As a 47 year old bloke, without a Glastonbury ticket, i don’t really know if my opinion should count for anything on this particular topic.

However, forget about that you think the band is sh*t, or the singer is a bit of an arse. Glastonbury is about ‘moments’, and when the 1975 play Robbers, it will be a total ‘Glastonbury moment’, with the potential for the loudest singalong of the weekend.

You might disagree, but you would be wrong.

They will smash it and I am envious of all of you with the opportunity to see it happen.

He’s on a wind up. Ignore

This is my plan. They are my favourite band and want to be there for this moment.

I would like to see Rod but don't have time unfortunately. No tickets yet but staying positive.

I know it's a strange plan but I have to be there!

I don't know much about the 1975 but after seeing such mixed reactions to them headlining I watched their full Live from Madison Square Garden concert on YouTube. I wouldn’t be completely opposed to seeing them—they do put on a good show and had a few songs I recognised and enjoyed. That said, if they clash with an artist I really want to see, I won’t have any regrets about skipping their set.

They really want to play the festival so it will be great! That's the problem with Glastonbury too many acts turning up like it's a normal tour date

Nah. Glastonbury not for me this year. I'll watch on the box, then have a gig on the Saturday elsewhere.

I might but doing the same yet...I am happy they are playing. It honestly would have broke my heart if it was someone else after all the rumours. Puzzled as to why this site did not upgrade to strong rumour when it was exactly that

    • Avril gets above GC on rarity (see Cypress Hill this year). She drew in something like 70,000 at Glastonbury, so much so that they had to close the field off. I’d wager that she would get the biggest crowd of the entire weekend if she was to play DL.
    • We've reasonably predicted/wanted a bill of Blink, Avril, Good Charlotte for a while 😅    I'm surprised that Good Charlotte's UK shows in November seem to be doing well atm... obviously if they sell out those venues then they should be subheadliners right? (if they play download that is). They'd only look a strong sub if it was before Blink though I rekn.

    • Well Jason Isbell is on blistering form for this run of European gigs, wonderful night in Bristol
    • I am also interested in this. I was looking for past years, and it looks like it has a limited capacity.  I would love to see Ela Minus, but I guess I won't be able to make it in time, unfortunately.
