Then again if the Tories didn’t push back the fiscal event that they had already brought forward and replaced their leader yet again; then the Prime Minister could’ve attended COP. So yet another failure from them.

Bounce for Sunak. Think Labour definitely going to have more of a fight on their hands, and hopefully will be less bollocks and more about policies.

Sunak was always going to get a bounce in his honeymoon period. Currently though the polls are still good for Labour though.

for decades aid has mostly been about channelling govt money into the uk, because its sterling it has to be spent here, often by buying stuff from uk companies, it's a hidden subsidy.

I said it the other day (and before lol) but this is what I mean when I say there’s no consequences for these people. They do wrong, just tell us they should get another chance and expect us to move on. Why is there never any repercussions!?

Can anyone suggest any pro-Tory or centre-rightwing twitter commentators for me to follow? Preferably ones that seem relatively intelligent (other than being Tory supporters of course).

My twitter feed and indeed all the tweets shared in this thread aren't very helpful for getting a balanced view on what the rest of the country is seeing and thinking.

    • Rod Liddle has died. RIP.
    • Tickets on sale from 17th August but there is a special autobuy feature from 10th August- you log what you want to buy and then forget about it apparently.
    • Took my now 12 year old to old Trafford couple of years ago, for his 1st game. He fell asleep during the game, no replies needed. 😃   He is also a Wolves fan, my parenting skills are as good as Onana's goalkeeping skills.
    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
