I keep hearing that this support for labour is soft and could easily go back to tory, and that focus groups still think starmer is shit and boring..but even so...the polls aren't changing...and if they carry on like this then Truss will have to go...but how?

Focus groups aren’t that good for ascertaining voter intention, they can give some details behind how some voters think but otherwise they aren’t hugely useful.

Let it go.

Why 'Let it Go' is loved by prisoners and preschoolers alike | Financial Times

They are sick of being part of Britain which is dominated with English tory c**ts and not nice Scottish social democrats apart from the odd dickhead named after a shit pie.

So MisTruss won’t only be the PM that saw off the Queen, she’s also going to be the one that breaks up the United Kingdom.

What else is on her hitlist?

Scotland dominated by snp c**ts with less respect for democracy, and lower economic understanding, how's that better

Not on past evidence, the white paper was so economically bad it could have been tory, and the cuts that come with indy will be worse than tory.

ukraine news is grim .... family staying at my parents were heading back for a trip not sure if that will happen or not now .... might have been more permanent as things seemed calm where they lived and they haven't really set up roots here family all still in ukraine

Just let it go.

Can't wait for next week's comedy document. Where Scots want to make your family destitute by more than a tory.

Genuinely have no idea why you care so much about it it honestly perplexes me. Like I've seen you going on about it for the best part of a decade on here. I hate them too but I actually live here, surely it has 0 impact on you.

Surely the ideal outcome is for Scotland to vote Labour...

That used to happen and there are slight signs of a revival. Last couple polls had Labour on 30 odd percent which should be more concentrated than the SNP's 45 ish so that puts a good few central bet seats in contention.

The SNP will falter at some point then Labour will be back up in Scotland much to the annoyance of some I’m sure.

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
    • Lifelong Carlisle United supporter here.🤦‍♂️ Good luck for the coming Season and see you in October!
