Yeah I think it's going to be a toss up between Shapiro and Kelly to be honest. Both representing key states that they will most likely need.

you know when they are likely to choose? Has Harris been officially confirmed as the presidential candidate yet?

There is a vetting process on the VP picks that usually takes months by all accounts but I believe they are accelerating it no doubt hoping to have it wrapped up by the DNC.

 

Kamala isn't officially the presumptive nominee yet although she has enough support so it sounds like she's pretty much nailed in. I'm not 100% sure but I think they need to confirm their nominee before the 7th August so would expect it to become official within the next week or so.

Love that Kamala’s social media team is just going in on Trump. No more ‘going high when they go low’, just calling him out for the pathetic loser he is. Hope it continues and continues to escalate as the campaign goes on because you just know it’s absolutely getting under his skin and will cause him to get increasingly more unhinged. 
 

Also can’t get enough of the Vance / Couch stuff - so silly but just endless possibilities and also completely neuters him as any sort of threat. Great work.

It definitely gets under his skin, he’s quoting Rasmussen polls this morning.😂

 

The worry with Kamala is that it’s a honeymoon period and things will quieten down but they need to keep their foot on the pedal and continue the pressure.

You know I was born in US, but..but British/Australian parents, and brought over here when I was about one, so never had a US passport but my Dad later became an American citizen. So, maybe I could still become a US citizen, infact I think I can...might do it just so I can be that one vote that wins it for Kamala.

Actually, could I vote? Or do I need to go live there? Could get complicated.

      So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.

      I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
