it's going be too depressing with this Republican conference in the news all week. They are now fully united behind Trump who now looks like the main man, and it is the Democrats which are all divided about what to do with their dodgy President. Quite a turn around. 

And maybe I'm overreacting but Trump could be bad news for US democracy going forward, bad news for Europe and NATO, great news for Putin, probably bad news for any slim chance there was of some sort of Palestinian state anytime soon, a disaster for COP and net zero and the climate, and not a lot of fun for recent migrants into the US or muslims living there.

Some 82 year olds are ok. Bernie Sanders is 82 and he still seems pretty with it. Biden is definitely not though, wouldn't be surprised if there's some degenerative stuff going on they're not telling people about.

Democrats have really f**ked it. They knew his age, so why pick Kamala Harris as his VP and not someone they actually thought could take over. f**king shitshow, they couldn't even hit the bullseye.
