Might be worth checking online for best exercises to do. My physio always said the work I did between sessions was more valuable than anything they did in the session. i'm the star of a yet to be published physio video. i've judst been told about a physio group that mweets twice a week so am following that up as i hope it'll be useful i'm hoping to go to today's session. Cool. Physios may well be my favourite and most underrated of the medical professionals. Even with my dog they have often been more use than the specialists that we paid £thousands to. Having a poorly dog makes you realise just how valuable the NHS is and what a scourge private medicine is when you have no alternative. Neil
i had some sessions with the UWE uni phyiotherapy lecturer (plus some students) which were great (via a stroke support charity), i think the session today (a different stroke support charity) is with physios from bristol physio clinic as thats next door to where its held the video i did is with the university lecturer too. will be on youtube somewhen. I said earlier that I'd skimmed through about 106 pages of your posts whilst on holiday and it was clear in some cases you were being very discreet about your issues, however I'm sorry that I missed out on that vital word about what happened to you. You poor fella, I was thinking this was all related to broken bones 🥺, apologies that I can be a bit slow on the uptake sometimes. I had a much older relative experience one and have seen their frustration at the knock on effects she pains. So you're currently doing short bouts of walking around the wet and windy streets of Brizzle?

Very true and painful too - as my mum regularly tells me 😉 If your life were a film we could cut to a montage where you're arduously learning to walk again on those parallel bars with someone earnestly willing you on, but clearly that's out of the question too on account of the arm. Good luck with your session today if your able to get there.

THINK IT WOULD WORK QUITE WELL, COS THE VIEWERS WOULD BE WILLING THE PATIENTS TO SUCCEED. RECKON THAT MIGHT BE A GO-ER, COS WITH A CURRENT FOCUS ON STROKES THE NHS MIGHT BE WILLING HELPERS, PERHAS WITH FUNDING TOO.
clarkete
Yes, having for a brief spell seen the impact on people, in terms of movement and their ability to communicate you're right that there's a very powerful human interest story there. It’s a better use of taxpayers funds. Better being spent on those who need it rather than being given to one of Spaffers mates to redecorate a flat. I’m waiting for my claim to be processed at the moment. Might as well get as much money as possible back off the twats in charge.
