Line N2 regular bus takes us to plaza de Cibeles which is about 25 min walk from where I need to be, is that right?

One regular bus that runs every half hour or so, and tens of thousands of people who want to get back to the city. Good luck. Btw, the last bus that runs at 5:10 according to the Mad Cool web site is in the direction from Cibeles to Valdebebas. It's probably rather empty, but you don't want to take that one.

Any reason why not?

Looks like taxis/Ubers are the only option

I was advised by a friend who went last year to get the metro back into town then get a taxi/uber from there. I've read of other reports of this too. Anyone else heard of or experienced this?

Do you know approx prices/waiting times for taxis last year?

Sorry, I don't know that. But I don't think it's comparable to this year anyway, since there actually were a lot of options to get back into the city last year (taxi, metro, shuttle buses to more centrally located places, own vehicles, etc).

Anyone know if it’s cashless, is it card only? Accept cash? There seems to be no information I can find!

Thanks

They take both cards and cash, but if the network is knocked out as last year the card readers won't work.

cibeles is very close to my hostel but i think it will still be dreadful to catch a shuttle.

do i understand correctly and the N2 regular bus is separate from the free shuttle? i still think it will get very crowded. i just hope that some people will leave early or they haven't sold that many tickets.

i think i will skip the welcome party and arrive early on thursday. will definitely be up for a beer with anyone interested, as i traveled alone this year.

does anyone know if they allow you to bring a reflex camera?

I'm on vacation with one so I'd like to be able to carry it with me ?

I am not sure they will allow it, for copyright reason (should fall under the pro- category). Moreover, I dont think you want to bring with you that piece of work at a music festival, could be the last place where you bring that to

If you ordered your tickets from Festicket I recommend you to come and change your wristband earlier.
My friend is staying in line of about 200 people because there is some problems with Festicket and their tickets can't be scanned. Don Broco will start in 10 minutes, and he's kinda nervous about it.
Another friend got her's from Ticketmaster and everything was alright.

    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
