Suppose its not that surprising. Fergies head shake in Anfield was the last straw. Jose was still living in the Lowry hotel which was very odd.

My guess would be to write the rest of this season off and try for Pochettino in the summer.

I dunno, I think there’s the sense that Spurs have reached their ceiling. He might fancy the challenge of (and money that comes with) turning around a superpower on hard times.

Real are rumoured to be interested too, not sure he’d turn them down.
