Glastonbury Secret Resale 2017

Good morning! 

I have read many of the threads from the past few years as well as done a lot of my own research, however I am still unclear on a couple of things and was hoping that some of you could answer my questions! As you may of guessed we missed out on tickets in both the October and April sales  

1) Can you still buy up to 2 coach tickets and 4 GA tickets in the secret resale? I am in group of 3. 

2) What were the dates and rough times of last year? From what I have read I think it was coach tickets around lunchtime on Monday 9th May 2016 followed by GA tickets in the evening on Thursday 12th? Please correct me if I am wrong. 

Would greatly appreciate any tips or info that you have on this subject

1. it's likely to be the same limits as used for the resale last week, but that can't be guaranteed. We only get to find out when the sale happens (if it happens).

2. any resales are most likely to be after the final refund date, but again it can't be guaranteed.

Hi All, I have been reading up on this the past week or so, I am keen to get my Girlfriend and her mate a ticket in the secret resale. 

I have read previously of people setting up Whatsapp groups with people who would like to get tickets in the secret resale. (This has worked)

Everyone in the whatsapp group sets up page check notifications on the Glastonbury Seetickets site and as soon as the page changes they notify the group and then we stand more chance of getting tickets, as apparently they will literally sell out within minutes. The more people we have watching the site the more chance we have getting tickets. 

If people would like to be apart of this whatsapp group and are happy to set up page checkers etc and help DM me with your name and number. 

Once in the whatsapp group we can share details on when we think it will be and notify each other as soon as they go on sale.

It's probably worth reading the other threads about this because all of the above is already in existence. You might be able to add your details to the groups.

the problem with whatsapp groups and similar is that most people will try to obtain their own tix before notifying others.

Indeedy, efestivals checkpage last year was the only reason I got tickets for the remainder of the gang. the whatsapps groups are good, but there is 'noise' in them with people 'chatting' so you become a bit numb to them - Neils checkpage is super quick, a text and no extra noise  (apart from when See tickets decide to have a play around)  well worth spending the money if you are desperate

General secret resale was on 12 may at 3ish, I made a note on my phone just in case i needed it this year

Thanks for that information oasisjojo. I'm trying for someone else (another efester), but can't be on line all the time, but will make a note of that day / time, on the off chance that it might be worth doing so.

I would LOVE to get involved! I am not computer savvy at all... to the point of blocking my email the morning of the resale and not being able to access my number! Can I DM you my details?

Hi all

 

Based on previous secret sales I thought coach tickets may go back on today, but nothing as of yet.

 

This is the first year since 2009 (excluding fallow 2012 of course) that I haven't got a ticket. My friends got them through work as are music bods, so it's just me and my boyfriend left behind. It seemed really, really hard to get tickets this year - none of our group got through. I hope this doesn't mean it's been so popular there will be no secret sale. Has this happened before?

Similar foresaken situation here - all family going apart from me as my registration was left off the booking if you can believe it - am hanging on in there - desperate to get a ticket as we have gone past the refund deadline now for the rest of the family. When I spoke to seetickets on friday to get a feel for refunds they said they had processed 100's every day so I guess they will put these back on sale...when though???

It was a few weeks after last year, are we thinking they've managed to tighten up the process this year then?

It's generally the week after the final day you can get a refund on your ticket. That day was last Friday. The expectation would be one day this week, so keep a keen eye out...

you probably only need to flick through the last 10 pages. Those of us that have been monitoring the landing pages since the 8th are probably starting to get a little bit of PTSD by now - if it doesn't happen by the weekend it may not occur at all..
