Is it Lou Barlow?

Yes.  We popped down to the stage as it was my job to ensure my boss got there to introduce Rodriguez but we were exactly 24 hours early so we watched Dinosaur Jr instead.   Probably the loudest stack I've heard.

And Erat is Latin and found within QED.

Putting QED into Hindi was to make it a bit harder.

Sorry. :)

Halsey

I believe you're correct and I'm very cross with Ian the Cryptic for chopping words in half. Since when was 'Hal' an accepted abbreviation for 'Halifax' or 'Sey' ever used to refer to the Seychelles?

I suppose we should be thankful no parts of it needed to be translated three times!

Don't be cross, be quicker.

That's not a bouy though, it's a cardinal, which through me.

Edit: nah you're ok, it's a type of bouy, you'd just never call it one though

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
