Do you have a source? I dunno if you've followed the thread but a bit of speculation if he's playing early at Kendal or in Hartlepool.

Will be glad to put that one to bed.

I don't have anything concrete I can refer back too regarding the calling out headliners

My heads telling me I know its Loyle Carner Friday, the Coral Saturday and the Hunna Sunday as I thought id found out the coral clashed with the manics  (personal nightmare for me) but I cant find where I got that from

the order on the website for the main stage is FF, phonics, manics then tinie which would represent Thursday to sunday in the right order

if we apply the same logic to the calling out stage the we'd have The Coral Friday, Loyle Carner Saturday and The Hunna sunday

I'll do some proper digging though and try get it all confirmed

Keep up the good work Thurlow:-)

Is the beach boys fella confirmed for a sub slot then on main and do we know what day ?

I know we thought he wouldn't want more than an hour so sub makes sense. Is Jake Bugg subbing and where is seasick playing would be good for us non Facebookers to know !

Don't expect many details going forward - a query about release of times on their twitter feed was replied to with "these will be on the lanyard"

heaven forbid we may want to plan our days / look up smaller bands that will fit in gaps beforehand...

That and the lanyard / program will cost you a tenner and they wouldn't want you avoiding forking out!

Aye, we have this problem every year. It's a shame for the reasons you give.

im not on Facebook so always appreciate the efforts folk on here go to to find and share who's playing when.

Its daft nowadays anyway as the first person to get a lanyard photographs it and posts it on twitter.

( I'm not on that either so if someone could maybe post the lanyard pictures on here I'd be most grateful :-) and buy you a pint of course. )

If someone could please chisel a copy of the lanyard for CNumb please and ideally send it north by pigeon that would be greatly appreciated. He'd be very happy to reward with 4 gills of ale.

Thursday Chai Wallahs is:

By the Rivers

Gypsies of Bohemia

Honeyfeet

K.O.G and the Zongo Brigade

Buzgy Malone is Saturday.

Just had it confirmed from their official Facebook page, but unfortunately By The Rivers will no longer be performing...they've cancelled all their bookings for the rest of 2017 (no reason given)...bit gutted as they're one of the better reggae performers that were on the line-up

    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
    • Beartooth? Or are they a bit to shouty shouty
    • May   1. Josiah and The Bonnevilles - As Is 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia’s Been Good To Me 3. The Coral - 388
    • That would be my dream trio based on bands that have been rumoured
