I just think with Ed bringing out a new album, which he's called his favourite yet, he has to do Glasto. And while there's every chance he could do V as well, sadly, it's becoming unlikely.

Could definitely see The 1975, Ezra and The Killers playing though. My best guess for "American pop, get teenagers to buy tickets" artist is probably Drake.

The Killers will be BST exclusive. Ed could still do V as well but they haven't shared a header since 2009. More likely for 2018 I think.

I can imagine Ed playing V again, his 2014 set was amazing, but like I said, unfortunately I think it's looking like a 2018 appearance is more likely.

At least Beiber isn't coming back next year, that's all I can say :D

I think he's probably got music sorted for release next year purely to do Glasto before the fallow. This being said he's exactly what BST would look to book next summer as well.

My Predictions would be

Lady Gaga - Pink - Bastille - Clean Bandit - Dizzee Rascal - Lawson - Louisa Johnson

The Script - Kaiser Cheifs - TDCC - Haim - All Time Low - Fratelies - Miles Kane

Mark Ronson - Annie Mac - Jonas Blue - Duke Dumont

---------------

Drake - The Weeknd - Craig David - Professor Green - Fetty Wapp - Katy B - Wretch 32

Faithless - Basement Jaxx - Hozier - George Ezra - Nathan Sykes - Jessie Ware - Newton Faulkner

Chase & Status - Panic at the Disco - Azealia Banks - Karen Harding

idk if this is even close to what it'll be but. Can definitely see 2 mainstream headliners

Bastille won't be there. Faithless and Kaiser Chiefs won't be back yet. George Ezra, Chase and Status, Miles Kane, Two Door and All Time Low wouldn't play that low. And Olly Murs will be a main stage sub. But looks pretty reliastic other than that :)  Louisa Johnson can drop out though

Beyoncé is at Coachella, possibly doing the festival circuit after her tour last year....was strongly rumoured last year.

Hoping not though.....Still hoping for Eminem

These two are very possible.

Hope its not the killers or kings of Leon both good but are there to often

Unlikely to be either IMHO.  They sold more tickets last year with a purely pop headliners than the two previous years when they had bands on one night.

Cant see beyonce as shes done V before in 2013.

Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these end up there just maybe in a different order with olly Murrs added

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
