Discovered this week that Wetherspoons are now doing a Craft Beer takeaway service. They even provide a handy little carry case!

what kind of carry case, one sturdy enough to take to a festival?  any pics?

No just the cardboard type that carries 4 cans each. Sturdy enough but probably easier to just stick them in your bag.

They do Sixpoint in cans though which is an awesome beer!

Probably Tanglefoot or Abbot. Or for a more hoppy modern IPA around that strength, 13 Guns.

My wife picked me some up the other day so not sure what she paid. Think last time i was in a spoons (about a year ago) I paid around £2.50 for a Sixpoint Bengali. Great American IPA and 6.5% to boot!

And here was me about to check out beerhawk.co.uk and it would seem to be down  - will keep trying as that sounds like a good deal (despite me sitting on 48 cans of various brewdog and other assorted ales.....you can never have too much beer )

Tanglefoot are my can ale recommendation. Also from same brewery I would recommend Fursty Ferrett and like the Tangle widely available in the usual supermarkets

Personally I am  not a fan of Abbotts

Big fan of Beavertown lately, particularly Smog Rocket

Anyone in Birmingham if you head to Cotteridge Wines they have a rather large selection of beers and are regularly voted the best beer shop in England. They have something like over 1,300 beers and while a lot of them are bottled you can find some great canned gems

The majority of Magic Rock beers are great. A trip to their tap room is a must if you are ever in Huddersfield.

Will be taking a crate of this wonderful stuff, cheap, easy to drink, and can be drunk warm or cold.   Might take a couple craft beers too for the first day to enjoy cold after the tent is set up.
