the entire process of anyone trying to eliminate waste in your own tent seems way to dangerous to me, in all the festivals I've been to I've never found myself in such a state where i'd think trying to piss beneath the canvas is a good plan

even if i was in such a predicament it would probably be because i was impaired which would make it even more dangerous

y'all are some brave mothertruckers

no word of a lie

a few years back my friend went to meet some girls she knew who were camping in the pennards we were in dairy , she got there sat around the fire and her friend said she was going for a pee. She went in her tent. When she came out my friend asked her if she had just pissed in her tent. She replied "yes I have a pissy tub" anyway a few hours goes by it's pitch black raining . she dicieds that it is best to go into the girls tent to try and keep dry. When she gets in the tent she sees the tupperware tub in the corner half full of wee with a big turd floating on top.

she made her excuses and left. I am ok with pissing in a tub but that is too far my friend

Strewth. Imagine the moment when you wobbled getting up from the crouch, caught the back of your heel on the edge of the tupperware, and propelled the turd into the far wall of your tent...

Nice!

it sounded bad, was best one year a friend bought a toilet, you set it it up it had a seat and a big bag underneath to catch your waste. the rule was you had to empty it after use and fit a new bag. (that didn't last long) the girls whos toilet it was had been out late and we had all been using her toilet. She came back totally wasted and decided she needed to go. in her w*nkered state she sat on the loo but then leaned back. all we say as her legs kicked open her tent flaps was a tidal wave of piss pouring over her .

not laughed that much in years.

Slightly misread the bit about tent flaps...

For a wholesome brekkie apart from a gd cheese toastie, where can i get a nice sausage n egg sarnie in wedge bread?

Childrens World will do you a sausage and egg baguette if that's close enough. In the past they've used decent crunchy baguettes on the Wednesday and Thursday - after that they resort to the softer ones found all over the site, presumably because they then have to source all their food from the central market.

Never understood the love for the Growler. Had it one year and felt it all day sat heavily at the pit of my stomach. Much better food around Glastonbury. Normally a quick bacon butty to tide me over on the walk over to Avalon / tiny tea tent area for some decent grub.

I'm not sure I've actually had a Growler. I queued for one a few years back but I think I bottled it at the last moment after seeing them close up. I might have gone for the breakfast in a baguette, which left me feeling pretty much like you. Never again!
