I'd like to see Jaggy Snake but I doubt they'd play it, especially with loads of new stuff to contend with, would have thought we will see Glitter and Trauma and Questions and Answers though, two of the older tracks that are normally main stays in the setlist.

thought they might try and shake up which older tracks they play from those they did in 2013.

It really might kill me if Biffy don't play 57, my absolute favourite Biffy song. Apart from that, would absolutely love that setlist.

Sadly reapers is already being dropped as a drones songs and songs like mercy, the handler and the globalist are persisting.  Would love your setlist though.

That's sad to hear since Reapers was by far my favourite track from Drones, although Psycho does work brilliantly as a setlist opener.

Reapers was pretty good as an opener but psycho into reapers was better than the other way round (ive seen them do both)

Reapers is miles ahead of the rest of that album, was gutted they didn't play it when I saw them in Spain, and with regards to Architects, Nihilist is the absolute best opening song imaginable and they should never ever start with anything else for the rest of their career

At The Drive-In:

1. Arcarsenal

2. Pattern Against User

3. *new song*

4. Enfilade

5. Cosmonaut

6. Quarantined

7. Napoleon Solo

8. *new song*

9. Catacombs

10. One Armed Scissor

That's being hopeful that there is actually new stuff on the way and that it wasn't a load of bollocks, cos it was meant to happen this year and hardly anything has been said about it.

    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
    • Beartooth? Or are they a bit to shouty shouty
    • May   1. Josiah and The Bonnevilles - As Is 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia’s Been Good To Me 3. The Coral - 388
    • That would be my dream trio based on bands that have been rumoured
