Well the first 6 seconds are just the keyboard so I don't mind them skipping that bit and the last two seconds is nothing so can't they just spare 44 seconds?

That'd be pretty cool. Also reminded me that in 2014 The Wonder Years and Every Time I Die played the Lock Up the same day as letlive. and I was hoping that they do the renditions. Unfortunately nothing came about of it

Didn't the guy from Wonder Years come out during The Dope Beat for Letlive? I was very drunk but I seem to remember that

WHAT!?!?! That didn't happen at Leeds :(

Well that sucks :( Was it possibly cause they had a shorter set? Don't know how it works at Leeds but looking at setlist fm it looks like they played less songs.

Yeah as much as I prefer Leeds, I'll go Reading this year if I go as over the past couple of years bands through the day at least get longer sets. Even 5 mins is another song, ADTR played 10 at least as apposed to 12 at Reading.

Reading got Homesick last time :(

Yup, it's probably worth paying the extra that Reading costs, just the sound was shit last two times I went.

Always found camping better at Reading mind you in the way of less hills and a lot more flat ground so you can turn up Thursday morning when it's light and pitch up no bother, Leeds tends to be or it was last time I went that unless you turned up at 3am Thursday morning when it opened, setup and got a kip, you were pitching on a hill. I did early entry last time and it was okay as we had the weather but it was a day too long and not worth the extra money but we did get the best spot we could in White camp, just across from the arena. other mates couldn't go/couldn't afford it but last year I thought was the best lineup for a couple of years and I wouldn't have seen any main stage header. I say best lineup, but not the best sets-a couple of bands plays some weird and shitty sets leaving some main songs out.

Yes. Yes I am.

Make that Biffy set a shorter set and call it NME secret set and you're probably not that far off.

By the time they finish their current tour it'll be about a year and a half of touring, I reckon that might be them done. Last year times they played Reading was right off the back of a new album the same year, I think these are gearing up to top it.

Having a go at Biffy's setlist after listening to Wolves Of Winter. I think it's a great track and would work really well as an opener.

I think there'll be a lot more new tracks than that, bearing in mind the album comes out nearly 2 months before the festival

Depends on the set length and album length, if they don't get a full set we might only see 3 new songs, if they do it could be anything from 4-7/8 really, also depends how well the album goes down

Apparently Simon's confirmed that it's going to be their new opener for the whole of the Ellipsis tour cycle.

I don't have any doubts that they will get 90 minutes, and regardless of how well the album goes down, a lot of people will be there to see new tracks, not the same set that they performed 3 years ago.

Biffy will play at least 6 new songs I think. If they get a similar length set to last time it'll probably be split like: 6 new songs, 5 opposites, 5 or, 3 puzzle and 3 others.

Going for something like this for the Biffy set:

Wolves of Winter,  The Captain, Who's Got A Match, Biblical, On a Bang, The Joke's On Us, Bubbles, *New Song*, *New Song*, Toys Toys Toys Choke Toys Toys Toys, Many of Horror, Stingin Belle, Black Chandelier, *New Song*, There's No Such Thing As a Jaggy Snake, Machines, Different People, That Golden Rule, Living is a Problem //// Glitter and Trauma, *New Song*, Mountains

Although would prefer if stingin belle and biblical were swapped for modern magic formula and victory over the sun. Plus switch many of horror for boom blast and ruin. However don't see any of those songs getting dropped. Plus popping in 9/15ths before jaģgy would be cool.

    • Well when you chuck 150 predictions put somethings gotta stick 😜   When you have GC or Avril as options to sub Blink, Turnstile wouldn't be a good option at all. Put them under a heavier headliner.   The thought that three days grace will headline avalanche is pretty laughable with the slots they are getting this year at fests. They were class at RIP     On am overall side note, Bruce slipped on last night see you next year before the encore!   Also Maiden smashed it!
    • Assuming nobody knows she’s playing before the main sale, it wouldn’t be that bad. There’d still be plenty of Swifties for you to sneer at but it wouldn’t be because they’ve infiltrated the sale, it would be because she’s just that popular.
    • I just saw Rock am Ring in Germany did a video announcing blink-182 will be playing it next year during this year's festival there.   We talked about when Glastonbury announces it's first headline act but that would be different if they announced a 2028 headliner during next year's event.
