Best browser for ticket day

O'Doyle Rules

Recommended Posts

I used IE to get my tickets yesterday and I got them as quick as I did when using Firefox/Chrome.

IMO doesn't matter and is all down to luck.

& brute force, get as many connections from different devices on different ip addresses going as possible. Recruit friends, relatives laptops tablets, iPads, dongles, android phones as hotspots & any other devices going, & neighbours wifi passwords can also be handy

I think it also depends how the browser is on your pc too, when i used chrome is was slow and add ons didn't download properly for some reason so all in all was a mess. If the browser has always worked fine then just use that in the end u just gotta spam that F5 button and have as many devices open as possible. Goodluck!

Firefox with 5 tabs open On an iMac F5ing on Thursday worked for me. I had 2 tabs open on Safari too but they just sat there doing nothing so I closed them down. Shortly after I did that I got through to the booking page. So Firefox was refreshing for me but Safari wasn't for some reason, which is weird as usually Safari is the quicker browser for me when surfing the net.

It's the same deal however you refresh. If you get the reg page you risk getting kicked off if you refresh.

Edit: if you're on the holding page you can refresh as much as you want.

Ok, that's what I mean. The auto refresh is fine at the holding page but as soon as you get through to the registration page if it's auto refreshing for you then you are likely to get kicked out before you can enter the details due to the auto refreshing.

Manual refreshing it is then .....

I click onto each of the tabs I have open and F5 each one in turn continuously until one of them (hopefully) goes to the reg page. It's worked for me so far (but it's most likely down to blind luck)Still, its a method I will use every year just because it would feel weird for me if I didn't.
