I think you are right, those dates point to a Sunday legend slot

 

Absolutely ideal for a legends slot, plenty of cheese, loads of singalong hits, and dare I say it American, as they all seem to be these days

 

The Sunday crowd, and more importantly for the festival, the media, will love it.

 

As long as he 'gets it' like Lionel did, it could be a great thing

aye it's fast becoming that - both Dolly and Lionel massively overshadowed the headliners on their respective Sundays

While true, I think that's also a factor of the Sunday headliners being pretty unexciting bookings, and the same would be true of #WrongBazza in 2016. If Adele headlined I'd expect it would take some of the shine off The Schnozz, but the likes of Muse wouldn't get a look in.
