So we now know that the top end of the main stage will go like this -

Friday: Damien Marley --> Skepta --> Major Lazer
Saturday: Wolf Alice --> Ride --> The Cure
Sunday: erm... I think Years & Years are in this bit somewhere.

Starting to take shape....!

What do we reckon on Big Top headliners then? Still to be announced?

Also, there seems to be a vague(ish) theme to the days on the main stage... A poppy headliner to fit with Years & Years on Sunday maybe?

Big Top headliners - we know about Hot Chip on the Thursday, and I know that Richie Hawtin is playing the Big Top so he's probably another headliner.  Bastille perhaps?  They're playing on the Sunday.

Not headliner/lineup related but is anyone over the age of 30 going to Bestival? I went a couple of years ago and had a great time but felt a little old then. I'm heading back this year but I haven't got any younger

Yeah I'm 40, and I've been going to Bestival since I was 33.  My mate who's coming with me is 36.  The only thing about it that makes me feel old is when I can't keep going full-on until 5am each night!

Hot Chip is a very strong big top choice for Thursday, as is Major Lazer to headline the main stage on Friday. The Cure is a weak option, although I like them, they're a required taste and for a Saturday night main stage headline slot, isn't great. Which could lead us to think that the Sunday slot is either a big dramatic crescendo of an announcement, or they just can't pin anyone down.

anyone know why they keep posting the Diplo/Fatboy slim/Carl Cox incoming video? They've been announced a good 3 times now.

2 minutes ago, Homer said:

Fatboy Slim has headlined twice too.

So it's often said; I don't think it's true though. Unless he was officially billed as a joint headliner with Basement Jaxx in year one (they played on the same day, I believe).

I really cannot think who it could be,

I am leaning towards Kendrick and he will be announced after his BST exclusive show is been and gone, I really cant think of anyone else but then again I would never have considered Missy Elliot
