not the person you asked but I always drink it when I'm at Academy gigs. Its quite sweet. it's made with actual apple fruit juice rather than the way cider is traditionally made. I like it, but I suspect it's not for everyone

I bought 4 taster cans tonight. Think I'll get a slab of 20 just to bulk up my supplies. I'm in a Motorhome so don't have to worry about carrying anything.

Anyone know which bars sell good cocktails?

I know the beat hotel do but where else?

The one with the bird cage above it in the circus field, there's one in, I think, the arse end of Shangri La and the NYC Downlow do a mean cocktail. The Glasto Latino bar is good for a mojito.

I've heard good things about somewhere in Silver Hayes. Sadly, or not so sadly, I can't really remember anywhere else.

I'd agree with the one in the circus field and glasto Latino, lovely stuff. The bar near john peel usually has a side bar in the tent that does cocktails

What's sommersby cider like? £10 for 20 cans has got my interest.

I really liked it, I won't touch wrongbow again. Which is in the same price bracket. The flavoured ones are really nice too, the cranberry especially, but ive only seen them in bottles. Worth a go at that price dude.

The wife has picked up 2 boxes of echo falls red from b&m bargains for £9 each today, she phoned me in her excitement to tell me, said each box holds the equivalent of three bottles.

I was coming here to ask about boxes of red - definitely gonna have to make a quick trip to B&M now!

Failing that - anyone know where else does decent boxes of red for a good price?

Tried my local Tescos. It's massive. Nothing but wine in boxes.

Tried all of the supermarkets 'round here.

Was going to order one from the Thatchers website until I got to checkout and they wanted more for P&P than the box cost.

I have bought 2 x 3l boxes of Country Manor from Tesco (4.69 a box) and it tastes great. Nice warm aswell which is a must for Glasto!

Maybe worth buying a box to see if you like that. Not as nice as Thatcher's but good all the same!
