To pass the time I've just got a quick question about how supported on this quest you all are by your other halves?

I'm doing this for my man with his full backing. He works extremely hard under very stressful conditions and he really adores Glastonbury as he's a big party/social animal at heart. He's currently working with some extremely poor people in a very poor part of the world so as much as we want tickets, we know we're very, very lucky to even have the chance to do such frivolous things like visit amazing tented cities for five days of partying. :D

Hi guys, I know a lot of people here are gutted about not getting tickets and may be still very desperate for one. There's a multi-million pound ticket scam circling round at the minute for glasto, please don't fall for it. Would hate to see people lose loads of money and not be allowed in the festival after having turned up x

I agree. I hate that attitude of 'didn't get a ticket so I'm breaking in'. What gives people the right to think they can just break in? If your lucks out your lucks out, go somewhere else!

Can I just say that the mad cows idea to get in is in jest to keep our spirits up!

What I can't understand about breaking in is how one would actually enjoy the festival if they were successful. I know I just couldn't and wouldn't want to be at Glastonbury Festival this way!

If no where else compares you'd want to fully support the festival (who give a lot of money to charity through ticket sales) by volunteering or working it if you couldn't get tickets. Dc site services still have paid work going. If you were that desperate you'd take anything

I'd say it's bullshit...

hey its nothing to do with saving money as im willing to pay upto a £1000 for a pair of tickets

There are still hospitality packages available. Look online if you're prepared to pay that much. Fly Glastonbury is one

    • went to their album launch show last night at the george tavern. it was fantastic! absolutely roasting in there though
    • I got mine yesterday but they sent the wrong ticket link, so had to email Ticketmaster and get the right one.    As for predictions, hard to see who else could do the Pulp/Sting/Byrne slot other than the Cure, and since they did Isle of Wight they maybe have an FR deal (Sting did both). It’s also the Cure’s 50th next year so imagine they’ll be doing a bigger tour. Pet Shop Boys or Kylie maybe?   Wolf Alice would be a dream. It’ll probably all be men again though.
    • Probably a couple of months yet....last ticket sale announcement was 10th October 2024.
    • watched Mystic River for the first time, overall i thought it was superb.   good shows from the three leads, well made, interesting and pretty solid all round.   a minor character moan tho - i thought the "Savage brothers" were ridiculous, they were like cartoon villains and kinda took  you out of the movie abit with their dastardly antics.   also, i hated, and i mean i HATED the ending.   there is a scene where Kevin Bacon is talking to Sean Penn in the morning after the night everything happens, and he says to him "when did you last see Dave"... then we get a close up of Sean Penns face, and you can see the cogs going round and he is struggling to decide what he is going to say... if the screen had cut to black at that moment it would have been the perfect ending... everything that happens after that is totally pointless and just detracts from the great movie you have just seen.   but i liked it. can't actually believe i never saw it before.   🙂
    • I’ve also got a media contact who gets hospitality tickets, he says their allocation of them is slightly reduced this year. The few Off site ultra expensive glamping/hospitality ticket packages mostly sold out a while ago. Some just after the 2025 festival ended.
