That sounds horrible-it's bad enough wasting all of the day waiting for tickets to appear, can't imagine eating into my (very valuable) sleeping time. Hopefully if you set the page monitors right you could be woken up at exactly the right time?

Maybe, but that assumes I will hear them in my sleep. I slept through three email alerts last night after giving up at around 2 am, knowing I had a UK friend on the case then too. Just shows though what we all do to get those tickets. We can only do it it every few years due to expense of flying back etc, but we ONLY go back to UK if we have a Glasto ticket ! Love it.

No reason to believe the process will be the same as year before (2015 was different from 2014). There's also been talk of a problem issuing refunds last year that delayed resales.

Ah I see. Could never be that simple could it! And by reading some of the things from yesterday it sounds like they have been quicker this year

Ok @cb4747 and I assume refund deadline was the Monday before? (11th) If so surely we can be pretty confident it will be 16th?

There's no pattern to this madness I'm afraid! Whoever has control over that big red button is just playing with us, ready to strike at any moment.

I need to watch the new GoT episode and was hoping to pass the time by doing this today but I can't find the link anywhere :(

Download a torrent client (e.g uTorrent or qBitTorrent) and then download the GoT torrent from pirateproxy.pw and watch it once it finishes downloading in your torrent client

Wondering if any of the techy guys out there know how it works with the /addregistrations page. If I have that loaded up (from when they were tweaking on Monday) and it is prefilled with the reg numbers and postcodes. If and when we do go live will I simply be able to press go or do you have to get back through to the /addregistrations with a link off the other sites.

Hi guys, I don't know if this has been asked (probably has) but does anyone know that dates for the secret resales for like the past 5 years or so? Or is it on a thingy and if so what's the link?

I posted this last night in the 'Thingy' thread:

The secret resale was at 3pm on 18th May last year, general admission only (no coach packages). Final refund date was 8th May.

2014 - 12th May c. 2:10pm Coach sale. 14th May Flash sale c. 1:14pm (Coach) followed by a full sale (general) c. 2:10pm. Refund deadline 9th May.

2013 - c. 1pm on both 7th (coaches) and 8th (general). Final refund date 3rd May.

I was thinking this! reluctant to do it just incase it doesn't work, think I'd rather go back to the start to be sure

    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
