So Im thinking about going to my work with about 4-5 others and having about 15 computers open.

Will I just simply be able to open different browsers and have people scanning to see which page changes and gets me through

OR

Will I need to have someone manning each computer doing things like refreshing etc

Here's my tip:

Do not have more than one window per browser per computer. So each computer only has the search in one of IE, Chrome, Firefox for example.

Make sure that you have tiled the windows on the screen so you can see the update progress of each browser window.

Then just leave them to do their auto refreshing. The rate that each window will individually be auto refreshing means manually refreshing is not necessary.

Only need to manually refresh if a browser fails to load.

? Is this new then? I thought the auto refresh was about 15 seconds? i.e. way too slow!

In October I noticed that See seemed to handle the page request far quicker, as quick as I could hit refresh, so having lots of pages up and scrolling round as ask finally loaded is pointless now. I was going to have one of each type of browser and hit just refresh those manually.

First time Ive had to go through the resale and up until Sunday I wasn't going to try, have a year off as we're taking the kids to Lattitude. Then the idea of FM potentially being the third headliner was floated around in my house and the wife, who was adamant we weren't going, had a meltdown, reassessed our finances and now we're back in the game.

Super excited and nervous all at the same time as Id relegated myself to the fact weeks ago that it wasn't to be this year.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
