Stone sour and kill switch would both be higher. Shinedown disturbed and deftones are about right though so you wouldn't get all those in one day

Replace killswitch with Refused.

Probs have agree with stonesour being too low though. When there back touring can see them maybe doing a short arena tour. 3 or 4 dates on a second leg UK tour. Dunno how well there academy tours sell

System of a down

Deftones

Disturbed

Stone sour

Shinedown

Killswitch engage

Tremonti

Lindeman

Think that would be a nice line up of metal and hard\rock

This would be a most excellent day out. I would watch Shinedown from the bar or food stalls though :)

I would enjoy that day too but it's far too strong, gotta get some shite no-one has heard of to play the first few slots

Far too strong? It's £90 for a day ticket or similar, if it was £70 on a R&L ticket I still question it unless I knew I couldn't get a SOAD ticket arena ticket after.

Disturbed subbing would be a little disappointing, but I wouldn't be totally surprised by it. I think they will play third down main or headline second, personally.

Yes 3rd doen, it's not as if they'll have mich teunion hype, their albums were going through the motions a bit and they weren't selling their tickets out instant or anything. They had stagnated quite a bit I think. I'd rather them 3rd down on an SOAD day but feel that's unlikely so I'll take the Sabbath day.

I'm a bit out of touch with the current scene, but was surprised they were 3rd down a few years back.  Have they had much success beyond Down With The Sickness and that other hit I can't remember the name of?

Down with the Sickness wasn't even a hit, The Sickness album is actually their worst selling.

Since then they've had 5 number 1 albums in a row in the US, don't think there's many bands who have achieved that in America.

In the UK, their last 2 albums have made the top 10.

They went on hiatus a few years ago, not long after they were 3rd from top at Download. Their latest album has cemented their place as a top 3 band on a festival lineup in the UK, wouldn't be surprised if they headline 2nd at Download with full stage show. It was one of their gripes when they went on hiatus that they aren't higher up at festivals in Europe.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
