The 1975 playing the NME? Surely that isn't right? When they played it in 2014 they packed it out like nobody I've ever seen before. And now they have a new album out and are even more popular.

Jack Ü playing Main would make a lot of sense, especially if they've got to fly down to Creamfields and play there that night too. They would have been SO much better in the tent and in the dark though.

Would they really fly 68 miles?

Parkway Drive sharing a stage with Imagine Dragons is plain fucking weird. Parkway will probably be beneath them as well, which is all kinds of wrong.

There won't be a better live band on that Main Stage all weekend than Parkway Drive.

Parkway, Skindred and Crossfaith all playing the main stage on the same day (hopefully one after the other) will be incredible.

So saturday is probably looking like..

Main - RHCP // ID // Courteeners // HAIM // EODM // Parkway Drive // Skindred // Crossfaith // <small opener>

NME - TDCC

Pit - TDEP

If there's a few good bands on Pit/NME/FR for me after Parkway and before RHCP, that's a pretty great day for me.

Won't be attending for the weekend this year and doubt I'll even do a day. Only interested in Foals and Twenty One Pilots on Friday and they'll probably clash, not a huge Chilis fan and not enough else for Saturday.

Would maybe go to the Sunday if 1975 and Biffy didn't clash but that seems likely now

So Fall Out Boy are really just sub headliners?

As far as R/L are concerned in the press release, they're co-headliners .. but someone always has to play last.

And I'll just point out that me saying they were co-headliners has been proven correct, even if it's being seen as a little odd by many.

Do you know any other stage split information Neil, or is what you've got on the lineup page as far as your knowledge goes?

Going to Leeds I'm happy so far, clash dependent.

Friday

Biffy, cage the elephant, the king blues are unmissable. Will catch fall out boy, vaccines and savages.

Saturday

Twenty one pilots, chvrches, maximo park and FranCarter &trs unmissable. Would catch Foals if clashes work out.

Sunday

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eagles of death metal, slaves, skindred unmissable. Would catch crossfaith and wakrat.

At least 2 headliners is worth £100. Slaves, chvrches, TOP worth £50. More than enough for me that's before padding out and a listen to the bands in haven't heard anything from.

Do we know for certain that Biffy are playing last at Leeds? And do we know who's playing last where between Disclosure and Foals?

Biffy's site explicitly states they're closing main at BOTH sites, so I'd say that's what we have to go with unless R&L say otherwise

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
