So far I'm really looking forward to biffy, RHCP, parkway drive and asking A, and of course five finger death punch, which no one seems to be talking about. Is that cos the rumour has died down or because simply no one cares?

5FDP seem a strange booking to me. They played 3rd from top at Download past year and seem to be pushing towards being an   arena band, yet at Reading I can't see them attracting a decent sized crowd

Yeah tbh I can see that, just they are the one rumour I really want to be true. It would also be nice to add pretty reckless and black keys but I might be dreaming there

In my opinion, this lineup is terrible. Not just me being miserable or pessimistic, but in reality, there's nothing particularly special or highly interesting about the lineup. It's lacking at the moment, just a handful of bands that are genuinely good, appealing and hard to see. Just so bland for my taste specifically, I just hope that poorer ticket sales show the organisers the error of their ways; with that being said, it probably will sell well to their target market with acts like disclosure, fetty wap etc

I don't know how to get them out of my account ffs haha. If I get banned for this I'm done.

Stop trying to pretend this isn't you having another one of your nights where you just post stories on here while drunk.

I embrace them wholly.

To be fair, everyone here loves #willstories. Want to hear another?

i know i'll get downvoted for saying this but c'mon guys, it's pretty funny "lives in dentals attic" think this thread needs to stop taking itself so seriously.

I'd want to see:

Foals, Disclosure, CHVRCHES, Die Antwoord, Jack Ü, Boy Better Know, Fetty Wap, Asking Alexandria, Lower Than Atlantis, The Internet, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Creeper.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Courteeners, Slaves, Parkway Drive, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Skindred.

Biffy Clyro, Fall Out Boy, The 1975, The Vaccines, A$AP Rocky, Sleeping With Sirens, Mistajam, The King Blues, Modern Baseball, State Champs, Basement.

But out of all of those, the only ones I would be dying to see are Die Antwoord, Frank Carter, Creeper, Parkway Drive, Biffy Clyro, A$AP Rocky, Modern Baseball and State Champs.

Unfortunately for what youbreally want to see it's worth £100 tops and I'm pushing it there. Sets are obviously shorter at festivals and what you want to see sometimes clashes hence I guess why people choose to pay more so. I have to say I think if you included all you mentioned you are still scraping for £220 worth.

I have to say for just in case purposes, the best things I have chose to do were wait for The Offspring from Download last year and get them with Bad Religion who were below, grab ATDI London next month and Sum 41 which ticked off any curiosity over Frank Carter which there wasn't really any, but it was a decent show none the less.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
