Lineup 2016

Ok. Anyway Slipknot just announced a short tour of the UK in February despite being on a break or whatever next year. Maybe they're not out of the picture for R+L after all. Although it being preceded two arena tours and Download might be overkill.

08 - CARDIFF Arena
09 - LONDON Alexandra Palace
12 - BIRMINGHAM Arena
13 - LEEDS Arena

Definitely not, Brand New are hugeeee now

They haven't grown much since 2013 where they played 5th. Also most people I know haven't even heard of them

While Brand New aren't "hugeeee", they could definitely play 4th based on how their last few UK tours have flown out the door, all decently lengthed (probably not a word) academy tours too, rather than 1 or 2 dates here and there.

Most people I know haven't heard of them either, but most people I know probably haven't heard of acts like Foals either.

Imagine Dragons surely have to be considered bigger than Foals, and most people seem okay with the idea of Foals potentially headlining.

I wouldn't, but it's very difficult to just definitively compare one band to another because of however many factors there are. I would definitely think with a Reading + Leeds crowd that Foals would be bigger and Melvin has tipped them to headline in future so they'd headline over Imagine Dragons.

The last tour was diddy venues, no? And Glasgow's Academy was absolutely nowhere near sold out for their last show there.

Ally Pally was one of the venues, and I think it may have sold out or been close to a sell out too.

You won't get anywhere, I tried saying this ages ago and people's liking on here for Foals over them overshadows their views behind it. Imagine Dragons bigger UK Tour, Foals smaller UK tour and only Wembley Arena as apposed to two o2 dates.

Reading is the direct crowd for Imagine Dragons as well comfortably.

I'll give £20 to WaterAid if Imagine Dragons headline next year, on the agreement that you do the same if Foals headline next year.

I think you have read my post wrong (no shock there). I didn't say Imagine Dragons to headline, I said if Foals can then Imagine Dragons can be considered as well, just like Hart Attack said.

As for the £20, there is no chance I will ever give anything towards Foals playing a headline show.

The post you responded to saying "I tried saying this ages ago" was Hart Attack justifying his prediction of Imagine Dragons headlining so, whether you realise it or not, that is what you were saying.
