dentalplan
Which 'supergroup' do people prefer? This is most certainly relevant to Download because they both played there, and it's also important for my dissertation.
luckysalt
Never saw Audioslave live but Velvet Revolver for me as I saw them live and they were bloody amazing, met Robert Plant at the bar too during that. Slash chain smoked throughout the entire thing, I remember seeing in the paper the next day saying how much he had to pay for doing it, but I can't remember off the top of my head. rivalschools.price
Never saw Audioslave live but they produced three decent albums.(were due to play Reading one year but cancelled) Saying that, Velvet Revolver produced one decent album and one boring album by were fantastic when I saw them live. I'm going for Audioslave
kaosmark2
Velvet Revolver produced something decent? Audioslave were inconsistent but had a few decent tunes. Preferred when I saw Cornell doing Audioslave songs to when I saw VR as well.
lightning1000
Anything with Tom merello opposed to slash is better.
kaosmark2
Anything with Tom merello opposed to slash is better. RatM weren't really that much better than either of these disappointments.
dentalplan
Anything with Tom merello opposed to slash is better. That's an interesting thing about it. If we did a poll comparing members of each band or Rage vs. GNR or Stone Temple Pilots vs. Soundgarden it'd be massively one sided every time. This is currently cut right down the middle. This could be the new 'coffee or tea' or 'Burger King or McDonalds'.

Chavmeisterdeluxe
Velvet Revolver for me, Cornell's voice just grates on me after a while. Saw Velvet Revolver a couple of times and loved it.

Ipayne
Audioslave definitely, was never a big fan of VR. Absolutely love the first Audioslave album.
jump
I went for Audioslave, Velvet Revolver always seemed to me trying to do the 80's Gun N Roses rock n roll thing by emulating it rather than doing it.

dentalplan
Looks like all the idiots were hanging around the moment you posted it. All the Rage fans were too busy rebelling against their parents and teachers to vote for Audioslave at first.

cornucopia
I like them both. Love the 80's vibe of velvet revolver but also love the stoner aspect of audioslave
