Back update, apparently no real damage done and no concussion. I have been told to rest and make sure I do things slowly, regular painkillers etc.

Looks like I will be on here a lot in the next couple of days.

Anybody else going on hols before glasto? I'm off to Spain next week, but have barely given it a thought, just keep daydreaming about getting to Pilton!

Think I've had enough pre-Glasto holidays! First five day week since March, damn it's hard...

Dee just won tickets to the Selector album launch on 26 May. She is now agonising about the fact it is a Tuesday, the day after we come back from Sunrise. In London.

Very sad day for me. Myself and the vet have decided that it is time for Sam to go to rainbow bridge. He will be going to sleep at 11am on Friday in his own home. He will have a sedative beforehand as he is so confused at the moment. Everyone has said for months that I'll know when the time is right. Although my heart is hurting right now, I know that that time is here. My beautiful little boy will be playing up there soon with his Auntie Tammy.

He is your friend, your partner,

your defender, your dog.

You are his life, his love, his leader.

He will be yours, faithful and true,

to the last beat of his heart.

You owe it to him to

be worthy of such devotion.

So sad for you CG, you have made a very brave decision that is one of the hardest to make, I am glad he is going to sleep in you home it was the best thing we did for Barney, it was totally stress free for him and he went very peacefully.

I know whatever is said will not make things easier for you, but I will be thinking of you on Friday and sending you a virtual hug.

Hopefully Sam will find Barney in doggy heaven and play and get up to mischief together.

Big hugs and love to you.

What is the NFR is this some sort of wrestling league or something?

Nothing so active. It's 'No fucking r@in, No fucking compromise' a digital offering to have extended sunshine at the festival each year, and a bit of banter in the run up, and aftermath.

Hello.

Welcome.

There are ramblings, videos, photos of the site, pet stories, and general silliness. Dive right in if you like.

    • I too am always a bit blurred on what/who constitutes a legend slot but would Sting fit that bill?  Those there said his IoW slot was v good and he has enough of a songbook imo for a Sun afternoon if he uses the Police's 1st 2 albums for a fair chunk of it
    • Thing is, I'd have said that as well.   But then she inexplicably ended up on the Wilderness lineup and that changes everything. I reckon if that goes well, which it will, then she's very much in the picture.
    • This has probably been discussed a hundred times already on efests but what constitutes a legend? I know some of it is my age but I don't see eurithmics or Duran Duran as legend status. Neil young or nils lofgren then yes and neither of them have overly troubled the charts. Duran Duran and indeed the eurithmics I would put in the 80s category and whilst it would be ok (human league at isle of wight we're fabulous) they just arent in my mind legend status.  Zombies played same festival- i would take that.
    • friendly tonight delayed , pitch draining pretty quick to be fair .... not sure it bodes well for other games with potential fixture backlog
